What are the different between regular
and irregular verbs in past? Explain and give examples about the rules.
English verbs are divided into two main
categories, these are regular and irregular. Knowing the difference between the
two will help us conjugate these verbs when we use them in the past tense.
Irregular verbs
Irregular
verbs change their form completely when we use them in their past form and past
participle (termination ado, ido, to, so, cho). Unfortunately there is no rule
for doing so, so you should learn them both ways. Here is a list divided into
two images. To view larger images, you need to click on them. ut the rules.
Regular verbs
Regular verbs
are easier to learn since they always end with the letters - ed. In addition,
unlike irregular verbs, these do have spelling or writing rules.
